Sooner teams have finished 1st or 2nd 21 of past 27 seasons, and never lower than 4th. No other team can say that. These guys are, and should be, beyond proud of accomplishments, and work they put in to get them. Rest assured already working on how to be even better next year.

FT: At least 34 tankers with links to Iran have bypassed the US blockade since it began, according to the cargo tracking group Vortexa, including several carrying Iranian oil— despite President Trump declaring the barricade a “tremendous success”. giftarticle.ft.com/giftarticle/ac…

TPUSA hired Savannah Chrisley of Georgia - a reality TV personality with no ties to Ohio, to promote Vivek Ramaswamy at tonight's event. She has no skin in the game. She was hired to try to seem relevant to OSU students. In the 12+ minutes of this painfully rehearsed speech, she told OSU students how AI lied about Charlie's death, that OSU grads would have jobs in data centers (10-30 per hyperacale facility), and how we shouldn't let Texas and Virginia have them. "BUILD THEM HERE" I don't even know what to say. I'm utterly disgusted.

@Yair_Rosenberg You are an incredibly dishonest writer who has deliberately left out every quote from Einstein that supports Piker's position and undermines your own. If your undergraduate thesis on Einstein is as intellectually dishonest as this article then your degree should be revoked.

I hate gerrymandering, but the question is: If GOP states brazenly do it mid-decade, is the proper blue-state response "two wrongs don't make a right" or "level the playing field to neutralize its national impacts." Ultimately, I voted "yes" based on the latter. Paradoxically, I consider this the best way to ultimately discourage mid-decade gerrymanders because it prevents the instigators from being rewarded with much more net House seats. And I believe this cross-state backlash will discourage this mid-decade gambit from being repeated in the future. Ultimately, a national ban on gerrymandering is central to fixing Congress. But passively letting one side gerrymander and be rewarded for it would move us further away from that point. Conservatives should recognize this "peace through strength" principle: The best way to discourage war is not to unilaterally disarm, but rather to build a strong enough military to discourage the other side from launching the next war.

Again, if Republicans want to stop partisan gerrymandering they should vote for Democrats’ proposal for a national ban on partisan gerrymandering. If they don’t want to stop it, then stop whining.

Truly abhorrent and unimaginable behavior today at the @FedSocUCLA event that hosted a @DHSgov lawyer. Leftist students repeatedly disrupted the event, yelled profanities, shouted, made their phones ping incessantly, and eventually stormed out to a rally that violated all time, place, and manner restrictions. These students can’t handle @FedSoc event about the law, but will remain students at @UCLA_Law and eventually be admitted to the Bar. It is a damning indictment on higher education that students behave so despicably.

Activists like Rufo have no theory of social change beyond activism so they discount the role of ideas. They also ignore the division of labor - social change results from coalitions of people employing complementary tactics. They only know one thing.

@RobProvince lmao, Illinois used a bipartisan commission for those maps and they were historically balanced with a few competetive districts, so again, why not show the Illinois maps using the census data for the REDMAP program instead of one from 10 years later?

Congratulations, Virginia! Republicans are trying to tilt the midterm elections in their favor, but they haven’t done it yet. Thanks for showing us what it looks like to stand up for our democracy and fight back.

r/BannedBooks celebrates over Amazon banning "Camp of the Saints" The comments are wild: "As a librarian that's not actually a book, I would remove it from my library" "I don't like book bans, but..." "It's not a book ban because it's a private company"

The so-called indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center announced by Todd Blanche and Kash Patel is baseless and illegitimate. These partisan hacks who continue to weaponize the criminal justice system against perceived opponents will never intimidate us. And all of them will be held accountable for their corrupt behavior no matter what it takes. newsweek.com/doj-southern-p…

Virginia voters have spoken, and tonight they pushed back against a President who claims he is ‘entitled’ to more Republican seats in Congress. As we watched other states go along with those demands without voter input, Virginians refused to let that stand. We responded the right way: at the ballot box.
