As they went on, I became…more of a freak. Scales, claws, fangs…the tail…they called us Hybrids.

Miles didn’t want to push an answer out of her, but still continued to watch the fight unfold. “You still wanna watch this, Cyn?”

He watched her eyes widen before returning his attention to the battle. “Guessing you’re not a big fan of that. Huh?”

He noticed the look on her face before deciding to give Cyn the run down. “Let’s just say Ultron is trying to ‘save’ the world by taking out every living being on this Earth.”

“Whoa indeed. If I were to take a guess, I’d say they’re fighting Ultron.”

"No that won't work!" "How about-" "No! No that's terrible!" "Come on Flug, think of something!"

“Great. Just stay close to me. The fight could get-.” It didn’t take long as there was an explosion going off in the distance. The hero would’ve let out a soft sigh. “Ugly. Seems like they’re still going at it.”

Alright…I can barely remember events, only details…constant yelling, the screaming…not from them…I think I lost my voice at times…

“You wanted to see the fight happening. I mean, if that’s what you want?” He noticed how Cyn was struggling to her feet as Miles would’ve carefully let go of her hand. “You think you can walk on your own?”

(He looked away.) I don’t have to continue. We can stop if you’d like.

Alright… (He was silent, as he breathed in and out.) I used to be normal…but, at a young age…I was taken by this company to act as an experiment.

He watched Cyn falling over before kneeling down and extended his hand to her. “Yeah, you get used to it very fast.”

It’s…kind of a long story…

He landed himself on top of the building before looking back at Cyn once more. “You okay?”

Oh, these? They’re uh…not always there.

Miles would’ve started looking around as well before noticing an empty rooftop. “There! Get yourself ready, Cyn!”

“Yeah, I can tell. Luckily for us, I’ll be sure to land us to a close by rooftop. Might need your help spotting one.”
