We had two team members give presentations today! @soph_e_chen presented her work with Lilium and then @DuckHawkFish gave a seminar talk on his dissertation work with parasitic plants! Great talks all around! @LFCollege @NorthwesternU @PBCresearch

Today, we bid farewell to Emma and @soph_e_chen, two of our fabulous @NSF REU students this summer. We wish them the best in the fall semester!

Begone, buckthorn! This weekend, @soph_e_chen and @echinaceaAlex volunteered at a restoration event with Together For Nature in IL. They helped cut and haul buckthorn, and the final pile was over 6 feet tall!

Sophia finished classifying X-rays of Lilium fruits today and is now on to data analysis! Go Sophia go! @LFCollege
