as sunoo mentioned his condition to us let me tell again HOW MUCH IM PROUD OF HIM ITS GONNA BE LONG BUT EVERYONE HAS TO REALIZE ONCE AGAIN HOW BRAVE HE REALLY IS😭 he was trainee in that condition and joined iland right before surgery.. his lung capacity was still recovering just singing a single line while executing synchronized choreo would have felt like breathing through a tiny straw. he had to exercise and have 4-5 meals a day to build up his chest wall and so his lungs wouldn't collapse again doing this while undergoing 10-12 hours of daily trainee and rookie dance practices means his metabolism was burning fuel faster than he could put it in. he was trapped in a cycle of pushing his body to its absolute physical limit BUT mentally it was probably harder😭 every time he felt a slight tightness in his chest a sharp stitch from dancing too hard, or caught a minor cold, a wave of panic would hit: is my lung collapsing again? having that fear looming over you while competing on a survival show and preparing for a high stakes debut is an unimaginable mental burden as a rookie there is immense pressure never to look weak skip practice or dampen the group's energy. he chose to carry the physical pain of a healing chest and the stress entirely behind the scenes keeping a bright smiling face for the cameras and fans he wasn't just managing the normal, intense stress of a kpop debut he was literally rebuilding his physical body and lung capacity from scratch on a public stage. it takes an unbelievable amount of mental grit to smile through that so today once again IM SO PROUD OF YOU SUNOO❤️

sunoo surviving i-land will always get me because you could literally see how limited he was at times or how often other trainees underestimated him, yet he still fought his way through every single round. The pd’s were right when they said he is the destined main character.

ilander sunoo was so strong ☹️ Imagine, he only trained for 10 months, and a year before participating in iland, he underwent major lung-related surgery. despite that, he still performed every stage with stability and consistency. the producers even praised him for his stable vocals and stage presence. and even though dancing intensely was probably much harder for him compared to the other trainees because of his condition, he never once used it as an excuse to slack off or hold himself back. instead, he worked quietly behind the scenes. he constantly pushing himself to improve. there was even a time when he practiced extra hard because his parts were usually placed at the back, and he worried the camera might not catch him properly. and his journey there as well was so hard because ilanders kept on sending him in the grounder. others even underestimated him. so everytime I watched it makes me sob! 😭 everytime he lose, he tried to smile and everytime he won, he tried to hide his smile. yk the time when he covered his mouth to hide his smile because everyone didn't expect he placed #1?! that's why I'm so glad that our iland baragis and other people fought for him until the end and the producers chose him. if I remember correctly, bang pd even mentioned that he was worried Sunoo might drop out in the middle of the show because of his health. But look at what happened now~ he is now Kim Sunoo of ENHYPEN. 🫂🩷 looking back, now that he mentioned his actual health issue why he underwent major surgery, it makes me so so proud. all those hardships he experienced in his trainee days, iland days, and early days as enhypen members are all worth it. my sunoo was really really really strong. 🥺 #ENHYPEN_SUNOO #선우 #엔하이픈_선우 #SUNOO #キム・ソヌ

he tried to smile when he lost, he tried NOT to smile when he won. it pains me that he was still smiling and cheerful even though he was the first one to be sent to the ground, despite receiving 20 votes out of 23 trainees (the other 3 was them) and performing better than the other trainees. and when it was his turn to win, he couldn’t even smile because the atmosphere was so awkward and silent, probably because they didn’t expect him to be ranked #1. he went through all of that, yet his attitude never changed. he was still so bubbly that you’d NEVER think he had any struggles he was keeping to himself. 😩 #ENHYPEN_SUNOO #선우 #엔하이픈_선우 #SUNOO #キム・ソヌ

Melihat postingan ini aku keinget sama suatu tweet yang bunyinya gini "Kita punya bias masing-masing di ENHYPEN, tapi kita pasti punya ikatan khusus dengan Yang Jungwon" Aku setuju dengan kalimat itu. Sebenarnya jauh sebelum kejadian tidak mengenakan beberapa bulan lalu itu, pertahanan ku di sini sudah pernah goyah lebih dulu. Aku pernah ninggalin akun ini dan merasa muak dengan semua yang terjadi di enville. Tapi suatu hari, rentetan notifikasi dari yang jungwon seolah menahanku, dia kayak "KAMU TUH GAK BOLEH KEMANA-MANA" secara tidak langsung. Diam-diam, aku berkali-kali mencoba lepas dari enville ini, tapi Jungwon terus-terusan narik aku buat bertahan disini. Dari Jungwon pun, aku sadar, ternyata enhypen sesayang ini sama engene. Pikirku, kalau aku mundur, yang sayang sama enha bakal berkurang satu. So yeah, di sinilah aku sekarang. Masih bertahan dan tidak lari ke idol manapun. Jungwon itu tulusnya bukan main plis. HE IS A TRUE LEADER FOR ME. Rasa sayang ke ENHA ini kalau aku pribadi berhasil dipupuk oleh Jungwon dan Jake, lalu diikuti member lainnya. Segala kalimat yang Jungwon ucapkan atau tulis tuh membekas di hati. Di enville ini, aku akui banyak orang jahat ke Jungwon, tapi Jungwon tuh gak pernah jahat ke ENGENE. Dia justru ngasih segudang cinta buat ENGENE tanpa pandang bulu. That's why i love him so much🥺 Jake itu ultimate bias ku, tapi Jungwon punya sebuah ruang tersendiri di hati aku (ini bukan berarti membedakan plis mksdnya, tolong jangan salah kira ya, aku sayang keduanya dan semua member enha tentu saja😭)
