@sadgirlcoded@harrystoupe definitely not true either lol. around 200 tickets out of 300 were given away to fans through the contest. the rest went to kroq people and the band. i can tell you that pretty much everyone knew every song lol, the energy was high. it was definitely mostly fans.
@writnkitten there was never an advertised sale except for a countdown on the roxy’s website, but even then it explicitly stated it was a private event you’d have to win tickets to. 300 cap so ab 150-200 through the contest, the rest to kroq people and the band p much
@sadgirlcoded@harrystoupe not really true lol, most kroq people couldn’t even get a +1, and i know people that have friends/family that work at the roxy that couldn’t get them in
@harrystoupe they said the show was for fans only but most people there were actually friends w someone who works w either the roxy/kroq so even though a lot of fans lined up they didn’t let us in
The 1975 to play special private show for @kroq at The Roxy (@theroxy) tonight. The venue capacity is around 500. Going to be a memorable show.
