Sign of inflation being insidiously introduced as Marks and Spencer move from selling bananas by weight, which was costing me 13-14p each, to individual bananas, 18p each, so a 28-38% increase sneaked in. Same with onions. What next, Cadbury’s mini egg by the egg?

@marksandspencer @KieranMaguire What you'll find happens is everyone will select the largest bananas and the smaller ones will get left, go ripe and get wasted. Same with any item that varies in size/weight but is charged per item.

@SpabbaRanks Xhaka is irrelevant. He counts even if he isn’t on the field. You can’t roll off the pitch to avoid playing someone onside. But VH is ahead of the GK too. You need two players ahead of the attacker for him to be onside.

So then, do we just ignore that the Brighton goal was offside and VAR was having a tea break at the time?
