Last night, Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a candidate who, by all accounts, is on track in the polls to flip Texas blue.
In response, Trump’s FCC reportedly threatened CBS if the interview aired.
CBS caved and pulled the segment, citing “financial reasons.”
In modern American history, no president has been more hostile to free speech than Donald Trump.
But censorship always backfires.

DHS could have said this was a terrible tragedy and ICE officers made mistakes; suspend the officers for a thorough investigaton. De-escalate the situation and keep it from exploding.

They tried to cover it up immediately and the Minneapolis police chief refused. Witnesses have been taken to police headquarters and all available off duty police have been called to work. ICE cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Congress must act now. The Courts must stop the stupid foot dragging. Enough is enough.

In the 1950s, we had the Italians, vs the Irish vs the Polish, etc. and those groups all said the other must go. Now our immigration has expanded beyond Europe and you're merging previously opposing groups as "white" and saying the "others" must go.America was built on diversity. As long as people assimilate and want to be Americans first, they should all be welcomed. Those that come here to impose terrorism or laws that are not compatible with American values, they must go. What your skin color is shouldn't matter and the fact that you are aligning yourself with a racist like Tucker speaks volumes.

Destroying our closest alliances to take Greenland — which Denmark lets us use freely already — is insane. Congress must say NO.
