Is this actually real?
I will be shocked if we get Claude Opus 4.8 today.
It does not make any sense.
We saw Claude Sonnet 4.8 in the Claude Code leaks.
Why would we get Claude Opus 4.8 before getting Claude Sonnet 4.8.
Claude Opus 4.8 was expected to drop in June.
The only reasonable explanation for this is if Claude Opus 4.7 was so bad that Anthropic decided to move this release up.
