You can be anointed but not appointed. Don’t try to take matters into your own hands. Trust God’s timing. Let Him do it His way. When we think we’re falling behind, it’s easy to get impatient and try to force things to happen. But God knows how to make up for lost time.

There are seasons of waiting, times when we’re not seeing any progress. We have to endure and do the right thing when nothing is changing. Pass those tests. But remember, as God carries you, you’re also going to come into these moments of favor where He catapults you ahead.

Are you letting your environment define who you are? Are your circumstances dictating your identity? You need to go back to who God says you are. Don’t let the negative circumstances talk you out of what God has spoken over your life.

Don’t let doubt keep you from blessings. Instead of thinking about how big the obstacle is, why don’t you have faith? “God, I thank You that You’re going ahead of me opening doors that no person can shut.”

The enemy would love to distort your identity to keep you from recognizing who you really are. Even though you’re a masterpiece, made in God’s image, one of a kind, you’ll start living like you’re unworthy, not valuable, nothing to offer. Delete the strongholds that contradict who God says you are.

Do you know what your Father has given you? Do you know you have the key to unlock every door to your destiny? You didn’t get shortchanged. God has great confidence in you. He believes in you more than you believe in yourself. Don’t go through life thinking you can’t reach your dreams, you can’t overcome that obstacle, you’ll never meet the right person. You have the key. Your Heavenly Father has given you everything you need to fulfill your purpose.

The Scripture says, “You overcome evil with good.” When you’re kind to those who are not kind to you, Proverbs says, “It’s like you’re heaping coals of fire on their head.” When you stay in love and you don’t sink down to their level, God will fight your battles. He’ll vindicate you better than you can vindicate yourself.

When you put on kindness, gentleness, humility, and mercy, you’re sending a message to people. Before you say a word, they can sense who you are. It’s creating an impression of love, goodness, and respect that draws people in. The opposite is also true. If you get dressed with pride, competition, bitterness, or sarcasm, that’s how people are reading you.

Once we live this day, we can’t get it back. Are you living in tomorrow, worried about the unknown? Are you living in yesterday, focused on what didn’t work out, when, all the while, God has you in this place for a reason? There’s a blessing in where you are now.

When God births a dream in your spirit, don’t dismiss it. When He speaks something that ignites your faith, that you get excited about, don’t take it lightly. Write that vision down. Get in agreement with God. You need to see it again and again so it will take root.

When you help others rise higher, God will help you rise higher. When you help that neighbor who’s down, you visit that coworker in the hospital, you mentor that young man who’s lonely, when you let others borrow your faith, there’s no limit to how high God will take you.

It’s great to have faith for yourself, to believe for your dreams, speak victory over your life. But God didn’t give you faith just for you. You can be the one that steps up and believes for a friend.

Quit inviting the wrong things. When those thoughts come, do yourself a favor, dismiss them. Don’t give them the time of day. You get to choose what takes up space in your mind. Instead of inviting negative, discouraging, can’t-do-it thoughts. How about inviting faith, inviting hope, inviting the goodness of God?

If you’re living as a thermometer—letting conditions set your mind, feelings determine your joy, & other people impact your attitude—life is going to be a rollercoaster. You can’t control all those things. Why don’t you start setting your mind? Make a decision every morning that you’re going to be positive, hopeful, grateful.

We all have something on our minds, something we’re dwelling on. If you give birth to what you’re thinking about, is it something you’re going to be happy with? If not, you need to reset your mind. You need to uproot all those negative seeds.

Some people miss God’s best because they get discouraged and allow their environment to change them. Don't let a temporary season, something that contradicts what God put in you, to change who you are.

Don’t let what hasn’t happened, how long it’s been, how unlikely it looks, convince you to quit believing. Keep the presence of God. “Lord, I thank You that You’re fighting my battles. What You have purposed for my life will come to pass.”

God doesn’t create anyone without putting something significant on the inside. It may not be much yet, but when you start taking steps of faith, you’ll go places that you never dreamed.

Life will try to push you down; thoughts will whisper everything you’re not. That’s okay. You’re not running someone else's race. You don’t need what they have. If you needed it, God would have given it to you.

You can’t have faith if you don’t first have hope. That’s why the enemy works so hard to suppress your hope, to get you to live discouraged. He constantly whispers, “It’s never going to happen. It’s too late. You don’t deserve it. Look what you’ve been through.” Tune all that out and declare what God says about you.
