ATTENTION: Southbridge PD would like to remind all citizens to lock their vehicles and refrain from keeping valuables (car keys, money, electronics) in them. We have had a recent rash of motor vehicle thefts and break-ins involving unlocked vehicles. Lock your residences as well!

Today we honor the fallen who paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we enjoy. Today is not about cookouts or hanging out on a day off from work. It’s about honoring the men and women who’ve put their lives on the line and perished serving this great country. We are grateful!

Life Song Church will be donating food to families in the community tomorrow from 11am-1pm in conjunction with the school district’s food program (drive-thru style). This is open to all community members!

Today is National Peace Officer Memorial Day. Today we honor the fallen brother and sister officers who’ve paid the ultimate price while while serving their communities and agencies. We also honor their families for enduring the tragic loss of their loved ones.

Today is National Nurses Day. We are grateful for the sacrifices these frontline workers make on a daily basis. We are especially grateful for what they are doing in spite of the current COVID-19 situation. They are truly superheroes in society. If you’re a nurse, thank you!!!

Southbridge PD would like to recognize the food service workers in our school district for their tireless work during this time. Monday-Friday since the COVID-19 crisis began,they made hundreds of lunches and breakfasts to distribute to the families in our community daily!
