Of course, we've already witnessed the GOP refuse to hold Trump accountable for inciting an insurrection, FORSAKING their OATH to our Constitution. We have also witnessed a Trump appointed Judge, Eileen Cannon, IGNORE the LAW, destroying a 150-year institution of Independent Counsel's acting as a check on Executive abuses of power. The remaining charges against Trump will no doubt disappear, because we are now a Country with a RULER, rather than Rule of Law.
