I saw Robert Refkin at the Inman Summit dogging on NAR dogging on MLS regulations, who is this guy? Has he ever sold a house? I already know the answer, no he hasn’t. But what he has done is been a Wall Street lackey working for Bear Sterns. He’s a rat, he’s a snake in the grass looking to consolidate the real estate industry into the hands of oligarchs. alA slime ball that used his connections and seed money to get into an industry that has been created by NAR, and then he wants to put them down after riding their backs? Typical rat behavior.. He’s fighting for private exclusives which don’t help sellers, it simply generates leads for the broker, let’s just be honest here. I’m not even gonna get into it flirting with fair housing violations. We’ll see what happens, those morons at Compass are in a race trying to buy up every dying business model in hopes of consolidating it before the brick and mortar brokerage model goes the way of the dodo, extinct. I’m not surprised at all that Compass and anywhere agents are digging their own graves without a thought about it. It’s a testament to the lack of awareness of your average Realtor, unable to think past their next commission.
