More than 10 million people across Latin America now use decentralized IDs built on @ethereum to access government services. A structural shift is happening across the region, where governments, universities, and citizens are beginning to share a common trust layer built on public infrastructure. Here's what this looks like from our work with Sovra: 🇲🇽 Nuevo León: 5+ million citizens can access services using NLinea, powered by SovraGov, to access verifiable credentials for education, healthcare, and public services without relying on centralized databases. 🇦🇷 Buenos Aires: 3.6+ million credentials issued via @QuarkID, enabling citizens to verify degrees, tax IDs, and legal signatures using open, interoperable standards. 🇦🇷 Salta: 1.5+ million citizens using IDDI, the province's digital identity platform powered by SovraGov, making it the first provincial government in Argentina to adopt decentralized identity protocols. 🇦🇷 Luján de Cuyo: Mi Luján Digital connects 25,000 residents to 60 municipal services through SovraGov, SovraID, and SovraWallet. 🇦🇷 San Miguel: A municipality of 350,000 residents digitalizing public procedures through a unified platform built on SovraGov. The results: More than 10 million citizens connected through decentralized identity infrastructure. We are proud to be building the infrastructure for this new trust layer together with @alignedlayer and @ethrex_client @class_lambda. And grateful to @EthereumFoundation for showing what global collaboration looks like.

Sovra won the Premio Tecnos Nuevo León 4.0 🏆, the highest recognition for technological innovation in Nuevo León, taking first place in the Smart City Society category. Nuevo León is home to some of Latin America’s most important industrial companies and institutions such as Cemex, Femsa, Kia, and Tec de Monterrey. Premio Tecnos evaluates solutions from across that ecosystem. The Government of @nuevoleon and the Iniciativa Nuevo León 4.0 review real deployments, visit operations, and assess the technology in practice. This year, Sovra was selected as the most innovative solution in the category. The evaluators recognized something simple but powerful: digital trust infrastructure that already works at scale. Today Sovra powers: • 1.2M+ citizens with reusable digital identities and verifiable credentials • 30–50% reduction in operational costs for digitized public services • 70% faster processing across those services • Real deployments across Mexico and Argentina Behind those numbers is a full stack for digital trust: decentralized identity, verifiable credentials, zero knowledge proofs, and blockchain working together to make identity and documents verifiable, reusable, and privacy preserving. We were likely the only startup in the room. That made the recognition even more meaningful. Huge thanks to @chuycepeda for representing Sovra and receiving the award on behalf of the team. Digital trust is infrastructure we all need. And today, the public sector, private sector, and academia of Nuevo León agreed.

A digital credential can be perfectly valid… and still useless. A citizen gets a digital ID in their phone. Cryptographically signed. But most institutions still can’t verify it. Not because they don’t want to. Because the infrastructure to check it doesn’t exist. wanted to share our first public demo of @alignedlayer wallet as a service. our engineering team has been doing an incredible job. really proud of how fast we’re building this. this is a key product for us. it’s how we help partners like @sovraio onboard millions of users in a seamless and secure way. still work to do, but we’re on the right path. here’s the demo: 1. sign in with google 2. create a wallet with touch id passkey saved to icloud 3. send usdt on chain signed with your fingerprint 4. open on a new device 5. send another tx immediately how we’re building it: - 2 of 2 multisig where user passkey and server co sign every transaction - erc 4337 account abstraction - auth via google + webauthn passkeys. - passkeys sync across devices via icloud keychain or google password manager - server guardian recovery with timelock + mfa still under development: censorship resistance allowing users to retrieve their encrypted server key independently using their device key + mfa so no one can block access to their wallet we will be sharing more demos in the future and a full blog post explaining the architecture and design decisions.

Billions of government and institutions records are leaked every year. For decades, we have built centralized systems that hold everything about everyone. A leaked database is someone's entire identity, available to anyone. But the harder challenge is ahead. The identity space is moving fast. In the next two to three years, many solutions will emerge. The risk is that each builds a closed ecosystem, well-intentioned but siloed. A credential that works in Buenos Aires but not in Mexico City solves the wrong problem. Identity that belongs to platforms, not people. For this to work for citizens, solutions need to be composable and interoperable from day one. Infrastructure that earns the word public. Our CEO @fernandezdiego spoke about how he sees the next two to three years playing out in a conversation with @therollupco. Not one winner. Many solutions, built to interoperate.
