This marked the 1st time in the save era a Sox pitcher K’d the only 2 men he faced for a save

@CheapSeats411 @Jim22Palmer This was preSoxNerd days of course but after I asked him about his comeback and Jockey etc I started grilling him on the up-and-coming #WhiteSox of that era. He was so cool about it. Years later we were reunited. I’ll try and find the articles

One of the best interviews I ever had in my 29+ years at the Kenosha News was when #JimPalmer aka @Jim22Palmer visited Jockey in our town in 1991. So kind and insightful, he treated me as if I were with a big city metro. I’ll never forget it.

Just leaving Milwaukee after the 150 year Anniversary celebration of Jockey. Not too bad for a small company from Kenosha. I forgot how enjoyable Milwaukee is now that I don’t have to get Yount, Molitor, cooper, Ogilvie, etc out. Unbelievable new convention center with the friendliest people ever.
