@ShempHoward10 Because all catchers throw right handed a catcher who hits lefty is desirable

@stevestone You mentioned earlier that a left-handed hitting catcher is very desirable. Why is that? Or did I misunderstand?

@stevestone Steve, I lost my father back in 2004, he was 49 years old. I just turned 49 and I think about him more everyday. He too taught me to become a man, I just wish he could’ve been around longer.

My father never went to college. He went to war in the Pacific. He was kind and patient. He was a Teamster who became a jukebox repair man. He taught me how to become a man. I think about him everyday. The World lost him 12 years ago. He was special to everyone he met. What a guy

@HotDogLarry1 @stevestone It’s too bad the Will Ferrell version of Harry entered the public consciousness because the real Harry Caray was incredibly savvy. A really smart guy.

I would pay money to be in the room when Jerry signed off on Bill Veeck night. Harry Caray night seems less likely.
HotDog Larry@HotDogLarry1

@RobHartWBBM Met him once briefly as he was waking through the crowd toward the field pre-game. Might even have his autograph somewhere. Def got Harry’s.

@HoyasAndNatsFan They tried to trade Kwan but they couldn’t get what they wanted in return. Not exactly going for it

@stevestone True...Sewald and Bieber were both recovering from injuries so it seemed like a wash (save for the gamblers)

@stevestone Always enjoy broadcasts, but notion of Guardians having sold off a bunch of players just didn't happen. They lost two pitchers to gambling scandal, but only trade deadline departure was recovering Shane Bieber, who hadn't won a game for the Guardians in more than a yr

I waited to reflect on Ryne Sandberg’s passing. As a player and a man there wasn’t many better. I called most of his games and what a player he became. After his career he showed what a classy person he was. His battles are over but his legacy lives on. I won’t forget him. RIP 23

Hey @stevestone .... Harry's last broadcast in 97. Was it at Wrigley against Philly on Sep 21 or did he make that last road trip to St. Louis to finish off the season?
