I have read about the court-ordered detention of an individual known as B-Lord, and I must say this clearly that no one should celebrate the incarceration of any person under the color of law. I have reached out to my astute rights lawyer, Marshal D F Abubakar, urging him to disengage from the process. We must all agree that sending B-Lord to prison is not a victory for legal brilliance or advocacy. Rather, it risks emboldening a system of oppression that weaponizes the law against citizens. Justice must never be reduced to punishment for its own sake. I will work to ensure this case is discontinued and B-Lord is released without further delay.

@GSKE2009 @Dennisk1919 Do you have proof of him faking his death that is admissible in law court? a death certificate? Do you have evidence of him accusing Seyi and King Mitchy of sleeping together? It will be fair if he is denied bail as long as the proper legal channels are followed.

I read sowore's statement about the whole VDM and Blord situation and i was very disappointed. VDM did arrest Blord, so what was he saying about oppression? It's obvious someone contacted sowore and he jumped to post a statement without proper verification of what happened. He can only plead with VDM to drop the case, nothing else he can do about it. This is not a civil case but a criminal case of identity theft.

@Akikanju1568901 @sowore You are condemning what you don't know? wisdom would have been you searching to know. All the charges against him are criminal charges. VDM is not against you pursuing your case legally he is against using the police as an agent oppression.

VDM is a blackmailer and a bully. He defames people in every way, and he himself has, on many occasions, railed against similar arrests of others. He labeled it tyranny, so he’s just being hypocritical as usual. That being said, the law is the law, so Mr. Sowore should sit this one out and let it play out. I don’t even know why Blord was arrested and charged—is this not a civil matter? We cannot say we want a better and just country while at the same time working to sabotage the system. Leave this issue alone and let it play out.

@BashirAhmaad @BashirAhmaad I am 100% sure you are not blind, the METRIC was clearly stated. "Top 20 ranked by their followership across major platforms" not by quota system. If there's any northern creator who believes his or her followership is more than any on the list it is verifiable.

I honestly have 100% no idea what metric or criteria were used to select what was described as the Top 20 content creators out of the 8,591 nominations received. Looking at the list alone, one can immediately notice the glaring imbalance and misrepresentation, I couldn’t find a single creator from the core North. Considering that tax reform affects every citizen across all regions, one would naturally expect that those selected to educate the public on such a critical issue would reflect a fair spread across the country, to ensure that the message reaches every community in a language and voice they understand. If the goal is truly to educate Nigerians effectively, then I humbly urge the relevant authorities to revisit this process and broaden the selection to include more diverse creators from every part of the country.
