@valigo The 3.5 jack on my desktop never worked on linux (fine on windows) despite being a common motherboard, but I switched to an external DAC about a week later so it stopped being a problem pretty fast

I just thought of a very good "no sound on Linux" joke, but then I realized that I didn't have any sound-related issues on Linux in many years at this point. Or rather ever since PipeWire became mainstream. When was the last time you had sound issues on Linux? The joke was "on Linux, nobody can hear you scream" btw, but typing it out now it's kinda cringe ngl.

俺はVガンの変形機構のすべてがアタマに入ってるんだけど、立体的に一切の破綻なくこんな事ができるのがVの面白さの1つですよ

@pikuma @Abhinavstwt it's cool that they terminated the message otherwise people might still be stuck parsing billboards to this very day

@makhaccino Dana's one of my favourite games, but I still think the party system is a mistake overall, it's weird. The flash guard does get tweaked, a lot of why Seven is the way it is is because of fitting to the PSP and the sort of reaction speeds you have with a low res screen.

The music in this game was top notch, it’s definitely top 3 for these games. Unfortunately I believe the direction they are taking Ys is a massive downgrade. It’s not bad by any means, but they really had something special with the VI engine games. Maybe Dana will change my mind.

Beat Ys: Seven This game is good. It has a pretty terrible start, but it picks up around the Wind Temple. Party system is a good way to segue from the different playable characters in Origin. The new combat is fun, but it’s overshadowed by how badly Flash Guard is implemented.

I hate spoiler culture "Nooooo, you can't talk about a thirty year old book because you might spoil the film adaptation." Grow up please.

@SierraSynthesis Sure, I don't mind. Works over ssh, don't even need to think about how it works, don't really need anything else for a 2 minute job

best bit of linux remains being able to use C as a throwaway script language. (will never touch python again in my life)

@bleedforever Web safe and restricted palettes haven't really been relevant in a long time, it's the dot size and spacing in your screen tones that's causing it, scaling down just causes effects like that.
