It seems ridiculous that you can now dump each NFT by 20% with 5 NFTs. Why do these teams so recklessly watch as their floors are destroyed? Is it that difficult to create market makers for the market to develop and attract new people? Why don't they buy back? Since the NFT bull market, everything has changed. Global politics and economics are in chaos, markets are teetering on failure, and AI is wrecking entire industries and livelihoods. Crypto’s promise has devolved into a rigged casino run by the house while gamblers and whales took their liquidity long ago in search of new paydays and dopamine. Yet many still ask, “What’s wrong with my NFT?” expecting old playbooks to deliver new results. But when the market has been down only, repeating the past isn’t perseverance, it’s suicide. Too many look at NFTs in a silo, ignoring the macro forces shaping everything around us. The ways of the past are not sustainable, and they haven’t been for some time. Overhead is real, and passion doesn’t pay bills. Everything around us has shifted, but some still act like it hasn’t. So we have a choice: stay stagnant and fade, or double down on what’s working and where our biggest opportunities lie. Not to abandon our roots, but to protect and honor what we have built together. Some won’t agree with the focus, and that’s okay. Not here to force anyone. Everyone chooses their own path. You can always come home, but for now, we must move forward. And as we do, we’re bringing, recognizing, and honoring our community, those who believe and will take the next step of the journey with us, while continuing to nurture the bonds, ties, and spirit that make this community so special. When we succeed, they’ll shout IKZ louder and further than ever. If you need a moment, take it. I am. The losses gutted me. But the direction is clear. We are focused. We are driven. It’s insane to think about where we were a year ago and where the project sits today. - We had partnerships rolling out left and right - animations coming out -music videos with famous singers being dropped - fun packs with wearables to open and win prizes with - and eventually the McDonalds coffee collab. Then it all started falling apart. They booted the guy that built it all (Julian), had a very underwhelming token launch, and then saw dissension in the ranks with nearly the entire front facing team leaving. I am not going to act like I know “how” they should fix it. But I am going to say the project is clearly in shambles right now and the community is mainly in the dark as to what the future looks like. So it’s either the pico bottom for @doodles or it’s basically the end of a storied run.

Some honesty and random thoughts re: @doodles (1) It seems to me the diamond hand community members are starting to capitulate. I get it, but I will ride this to fucking zero before I sell for peanuts because I still believe the art is amazing and PFPs are dope. (2) It bugs me so much that there are blind, self righteous bitchy little community members out there who act like everything is okay... yet provide zero contribution aimed at actually helping the project. These folks shit on well-intended holders who speak up with constructive criticism or present ideas designed to help the team and community at large. (3) I think we can all finally agree the doodles team has made a few mistakes. They did build and deliver some very cool things, but unfortunately those things were mishandled just enough to flop. For example, an amazing partnership with no significant call to action or direct value transfer to holders. Or a design-flawed staking mechanism. Or a token launch that was intentionally strapped/stifled under the assumption this would minimize speculation. But that's all water under the bridge at this point. And the team is now largely gone. I personally think this is good for the NFT project, but there are still a few things missing - like information. (4) I have said this many times before, but I'll say it again: I think Doodles should get back to basics - focus on the NFT project. This could mean: - Bifurcating the NFT project from DreamNet (if it's still happening) - Putting BT in charge of Doodles NFT LLC and someone else in charge of new products/services - Extending full IP rights to holders... simply because it makes a point - Providing holders with a new roadmap. Must have! - Announcing a "stupid simple" new model/mechanism that will blatantly transfer value to holders. - Telling us (publicly) you made mistakes and that you're making significant changes. Tell us you're getting back to basics and you're going to rebuild community trust and value in the collection. Tell us the other entity will focus on creating value for $DOOD, and that holders of the OG collection will benefit from the token. Literally do something fucking bold. We don't need a new owner like Moonbirds got; we just need a serious catalyst. MDGA
