This is your reminder that Ben is an avoidant attachment style. He loves Jen. When he gets her, he freaks out and ruins it. They break up. He then reactivates his love for her (it isnt freaking him out) and they get back together. He loves her. He freaks out. They breakup. It goes on and on until the avoidant goes to therapy to break the cycle & have healthy relationships — or, their partner decides to never entertain this/them again.
