The grid scene was done in After Effects! Lots of sampleImage() expressions looking at B+W comps to control properties. Sample Image uses the luminosity values of the controlling comp to determine the value. One comp controlling Z-depth and one comp controlling SourceText

@DanRoot_VGAS It’s a highly complex filter used very creatively. It feels like the genesis of a new medium. I get why there’s a conversation about animators feeling threatened, but I think it’s just going to branch out to something entirely new. But only time will tell.

The thing about animation, y'see, is that it can do things you can't do in real life. I'm not worried about this AI, because people can't do what cartoons can do. Without exaggeration, this is nothing more than a filter 🤷🏻‍♂️

@iamfesq I’m exactly the same way haha recording adds invisible pressure. As if you have someone looking over your shoulder Also the video would just show me starting over from scratch multiple times before landing on something I like
