3 or 4 signings? When we realistically need 6 or 7? And with Slot staying?
Yeah, next season is a write off before it's even began.

🥇| @alex_crook and @JacobsBen: Richard Hughes will not leave Liverpool this summer and will continue the revamp of the side, with 3 or 4 senior players set to arrive. Interest from Al-Hilal is genuine, but FSG want the sporting director to stay.

It was Everton Luis !! Special match. Great old memories❤️

I’d do anything to have Luis Enrique as our manager next season.

@LFCLaurie Our team is sh*t, even Cherki wouldn't play with such freedom at the final third if most of our possession is held by our centre backs.

@ChelseaFC 2 billion pounds worth of the Queen’s finest… and this is the squad 😭

@McFlybowy Klopp redefined the fullback role with his system, almost out of necessity after losing a traditional No10 like Coutinho turning them into creative engines. Robertson was doing the same off the left, just that Trent was more talented offensively.

Arnold doesn’t get the respect he deserves for one of the most creative full backs around, infact he’s part of the people that change how the role is looked upon recently, this used to be regular numbers for Arnold.
He’s one of those players who didn’t just adapt to the modern game, he helped define it.
Before him, a full-back’s job was simple, defend, overlap, maybe whip in a cross if space opened up. But with him, suddenly the role became a second playmaker position. You don’t just judge him on tackles or duels anymore, you judge him on chance creation, progression, tempo control, and how he dictates games from deep areas.
What people miss is how rare that actually is. There are plenty of attacking full-backs, but very few who can consistently step into midfield, control possession under pressure, switch play with precision, and still produce final-third output like a creative midfielder. That hybrid profile is what changed how managers build teams now inverted full-backs, midfield rotations, build-up structures all started becoming more mainstream because of players operating like that.
And the criticism he gets defensively is always louder than the appreciation for what he adds in possession. But the reality is, his teams are often built with that trade-off in mind. You’re not asking him to be a traditional defender, you’re using him as a system weapon. When he’s at his best, he bends games to his rhythm from right-back, which is something you almost never used to see.

I've run out of words for this fullback duo

Same intensity displayed today. We're the worst team off the ball, and mid table team on it. Wrap it up🤦🏽

@uLuyanda_Gama Just a huge volume of content, try solving more technical problems, understanding engineering in practise 😭.

Only people above him are the 2 best playmakers ever.
