Summary -
• Early onset over #Keralam and fast progress over Karnataka, Goa, #Konkan and south Maha, similar to 2025. Stall thereafter and delayed progress over Vidarbha, Marathwada, North Madhya Maha and Gujarat.
• All India Rainfall Below Normal (92-96% of LPA), including Monsoon Core Zone. July likely to be hit hardest.
• #MumbaiRains Below Normal (80-92% average across MMR)
• #MaharashtraRains Below Normal (92-96%) ; #GoaRains lower side of Normal (95-98%)
• #GujaratRains Below Normal (93-96%)
• One Cyclonic system each in #ArabianSea and #BayofBengal in May-June
• Battle between #ElNino and Positive #IOD from July, giving erratic performance, dry interludes, more breaks and heavy revivals. Hyperlocal variablility to be a significant feature.

1. Govt refuses to divulge the ARAI report that studied the effects of E20 petrol on Indian vehicles. An RTI seeking the same was filed by Mr. Nachiket Deshpande.
2. Over 80 % of petrol powered vehicles - both cars and two wheelers - running on Indian roads are NOT compliant with E20 petrol. Compliance here refers to both material and full compliance!
3. If there's nothing to hide, why not reveal the effects of E20 petrol on older vehicles?
4. If there are indeed adverse effects caused by E20 petrol - as suspected and experienced by many - why are there no separate nozzles at petrol bunks for non-E20 petrol?
5. If ARAI has found out that E20 petrol causes adverse effects on specific brands of vehicles, is it not the right of vehicle owners to know this, and be able to access non-E20 fuel?

Sweeping Truck Scam 🤐
Karnataka Govt rented 46 cleaning trucks for ₹613 Crore for 7 years.
Actual cost of 1 truck = ₹70 Lakh
Total cost to buy 46 trucks = ₹32 Cr.
But instead of buying, govt will pay:
• ₹87 Crore rent every year
• Total ₹613 Crore in 7 years
Logic given?
“₹32 Cr can’t be paid together”
So instead pay almost 20x more slowly with taxpayers money?

My #Alphonso Mango tree is now at the Fruit Abortion stage, may seem disappointing, but essential to take only best fruit to maturity.
I'm sure many would have seen this where hundreds of tiny baby mangoes fall off trees..
Excluding diseases, reasons for Abortion range from thinning fruit set, improper development at nascent stages, to mistakes in seed, skin or flesh development.
This particular baby has suffered from mango sap burn (yes, mangoes can get burnt from their own sap! 😯) as the fruit connection to the tree was not proper, but also has not been able to develop a seed for next generation!
Even #Nature has to abort her creations sometimes, but all to ensure survival of the fittest to carry forward next generation 💪🏼

Don't be deceived by the current heatwave!
The chunky #Anticyclone over Rajasthan dominating weather across western #Bharat and responsible for Heatwave over Konkan and Gujarat, will retrogress southwestwards to its normal position over Arabian Sea by 10th March.
This will switch winds to a cooler west-northwesterly 11th onwards, dropping Max to seasonal norm of 32-35°C over Konkan including #Mumbai MMR.
The Jet Stream returns by 15th, further weakening this High, and paving the way for 1st round of #PreMonsoon that I mentioned in my Summer Forecast, across Maharashtra and the Peninsula in the last fortnight of March.

@dmuthuk Sir, I have done Girivalam 3 times, last being this Karthik Poornima .. I am 72, a Mumbai ite, but was able to successfully complete the 14 Kms. Girivalam without any stops, without any tiredness and without any aches and pains .. !
A true miracle indeed .. ! GOD is great ..!

Ramana Maharshi has said that other holy places such as Kailash, Varanasi and Rishikesh are sacred because they are the abodes of Lord Shiva whereas Arunachala is Lord Shiva himself.
Since the mount itself is Shiva, it is revered as the largest Shiva Linga in the world.
There was a period in my life when I used to visit Mount Arunachala every single month.
Blessed to do girivalam on Shivaratris too.
That was around 30 years ago when there used to be only small number of visitors to both temple and girivalam.
Now Arunachala attracts millions of people.
Do visit Arunachala at least once in your life.

As promised, here's the forecast for the first Cold Snap marking the onset of #Winter2025-26 in #Gujarat starting Friday. This spell will last about a week. You'll notice that minimums will drop significantly from Thursday itself❄️
Below map accounts for the lowest possible temps likely in this spell. Sub 10°C likely to be seen in isolated spots in north Gujarat, eastern Kutch and central Saurashtra.

Some great news for those awaiting #Winter's arrival! ❄️ T minus 4 days 📉 A strong #WesternDisturbance to affect #JammuKashmir and north #Himalayan region on Tuesday 4th. Season's first strong blast of cold northerlies to follow from 5th which will gradually bring colder drier air towards central Bharat. #Gujarat will see temps dropping from Thursday, #Maharashtra by Friday, bringing a noticeable nip in the mornings. Even Day Max will get restricted to 26-28° for interiors. Significant drop will come Saturday 8th Nov onwards when minimums will drop to 14-16°C widely for interiors, including #Pune #Ahmedabad #Vadodara #Nasik #Nagpur #Rajkot etc. North Gujarat and Rural spots in Madhya Maha, Marathwada to drop to 10-12°C 🥶 #Mumbai MMR will also see first taste of late Autumnal chill with minimums dropping to 16-18°C Saturday onwards. Interior MMR dropping a degree or so lower upto 14°C. Detailed state forecast as we get closer.

JD VANCE is trying to ensure his presidential role too early. I don’t even think his party has chance to win in 2028. Though max will depend on opposition candidate. His marriage house lord Saturn is with core enemy Mars & running Mahadasha of Saturn finally started disturbing his married life. But the selfish motive for which he is planning to drop Usha is not possible getting materialised so early.
