Why do you want South Indians to compete with Pakistani-adjacent language? How about you revert to ancient Indian language like Sanskrit, that can be a link between you and at least three South Indian languages (with the exception being Tamil).

If anyone demands South Indians to learn a language, it’s only fair to point out that it’s more advantageous to learn South Indian languages even from national security perspective.

I don’t have issue with anyone learning anything, so long it’s not imposed. One language is an exception, doesn’t change the fact that Hindi is Pakistani adjacent by virtue of it being closer to majority of Pakistani languages, than it is to South Indian languages. @spandya32 But that’s not the state policy and that’s not what these rage baits are about. BTW, I can read, write and speak both languages fluently, first in my family to do so, but I learnt it as a hobby and nobody forced me to.
