Vulture funds In 2025, a staggering 56% of new homes in Dublin were purchased by non-household entities. That’s 4,079 out of 7,298 new builds. The 2026 Start In the first three months (Q1) of 2026, 7,856 new dwellings were completed. While the government claims this is momentum, a huge chunk of these especially the 2,355 apartments is destined for Build-to-Rent funds rather than first-time buyers.

Since Trump was elected, Meta got $21.7 billion in tax breaks & cut 11,600 jobs while Mark Zuckerberg got $34 billion richer and is now worth $237 billion. The idea that corporations will create jobs if you give them tax breaks is a myth made up by CEOs who want more tax breaks.

Brilliant article about Ireland by @SineadOS1 “Ireland spent approximately €1.2 billion in 2025 housing 33,000 asylum seekers in hotels, at roughly €99 per night. Comparatively, the Netherlands runs purpose-built state reception centers at €13.50 per night.” open.substack.com/pub/butthistim…

Run it back to 2007, when Luis Suárez and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar went ONE-ON-ONE in an Ajax training session. What a clip. 😅🔝

Another Fianna Fáil useless TD reading from the script. Perhaps she should fact check. Spain for instance implemented a €5 BILLION support package including VAT cut from 21% to 10% for electricity & gas & 20 cent cut on fuel.

The only NGO that the Irish government shut down was the NGO that was holding them accountable for the billions wasted on other NGOs & Quangos. You couldn’t make this shit up. #Ireland #NGOs

This is the Ireland we're living in now, where a man can smash the bones of a female passer by, knocking her out cold with an elbow to the face, then swan out of court on bail, and not a word out of the @NWCI or the mainstream media.

The problem is not the accuracy of these numbers. The problem is not the rate of increase in payments. The problem is that it survived rounds upon rounds of elections, clearly showing that nothing will change until bankruptcy sets on.
Employment Law Ireland@EmployRightsIE

Government released detailed expenditure data today. Ireland’s yearly social welfare bill has exploded from €9bn to €43bn. That is a €34bn increase and a 370% surge. Even in the last 3 years alone it is up €6.4bn. This is completely out of control.

70% of property bought in Dublin in 2023 was bought by foreigners. 46% paid in cash. Ireland's property market is an international money laundering haven. Ireland is the only country in the EU without restrictions on foreign purchases of property. owenreilly.ie/wp-content/upl…
