This is a perfect example of players taking matters into their own hands. Against Sporting away they were telling Martinelli to pass back but he decide to take on men and create the goal for Havertz. The players need to sense when there is an opportunity and go for it.

Plot twist? The way Odegaard plays is exactly what Arteta prefers. And I'll prove it. This was a picture taken just before the pass. Watch what Arteta is telling Eze. Calm down, recycle it. Eze doesn't listen, and we go 2 up. Odegaard turns back and recycles possession there.

This is what is most frustrating about Arteta, kept MLS and Eze on the bench because he cant see pass his favorites. Im not surprise we play better with MLS in midfield, he has a drive that many players dont have and he always look to go forward.

Look how fluent the team play going forward with MLS starting. Lewis-Skelly always looking for the forward play, if he doesnt see a clear pass he creates ones with his driving runs. Should have played way more this season esp in December and January.

The Ben White one seem harsh to me because you cant lean like that with your hand behind your back. The ball wasnt even on target so not stopping a shot on goal.

Could never understand the reason for this loan move this season. He could have played in the Caraboa Cup, instead of first team players, and used as a sub in league games.

Arsenal luck is so crazy, it is like bad luck is stick to the team like glue and it has really came out from the Carabao Cup. 2 injuries out the blue and both look muscular. I dont get it.

I dont know if I can take watching Odegaard anymore and ya already know Arteta is not gonna sub him. The crowd had to scream at him to shoot. Could have released Havertz , took 3 extra touches. Could have played in Gyokeres, passed the ball square. Frustrating!!

MLS another player that Arteta misused and would have helped the team. Brought in Norgaard and still uses Zubi when he is out of form.

I would have used Martinelli as a striker in the Caraboa Cup and tried new combinations. Instead he played his first team players and gave them more workload.

Cant get over how stubborn Arteta is. Look at wha he has to do at RB now Timber isnt available. Other times he could have played White and Mosquera at RB to give Timber but decided to overplay him. Make life harder for yourself for no reason.
