Royal Caribbean’s new ship Hero of the Seas has a Treehouse Suite that is truly insane. But what’s more insane is the price. $262,852 for a 9-night sailing. I really wonder who can afford this cabin? Like if you’re that rich, you could probably rent a private mega yacht.

Let's do intro reviews! I’m a retention director who works with some of the biggest YouTube creators, many of whose videos get over 100M views each. For the next 24 hours, I’ll review as many intros as possible and give advice on what to improve.

@PeterSciretta honestly can the theatres just let me know when the movie actually starts so i know when to arrive - i think i see 3 trailers and 10 ads - easier to just watch them on YouTube

I want to be clear: I love trailers. Trailers are not the problem, all the other ads and promotional spots for concession brands, theatrical formats and technology and AMC branded ads are what annoy me. Give me 4-5 trailers and Nicole Kidman.
Peter Sciretta@PeterSciretta

It’s easy. We don’t need 5 different ads telling us how great going to the movies is and how amazing the tech used in the theater is. We have already paid to be there. Maybe give us Nicole and some trailers for actual movies and move on.

Going to create a "pop up" channel on YouTube about Dad Life. These videos are inspired by conversations I've had w/ Dads, questions asked on X, & my own experience as a father of 4. If you want to know when they go live and get the link, reply with "DAD" and I'll DM you.

Universal Studios’ is making a sequel to Halloween Horror Nights and it’s called Fan Fest Nights. Yesterday I attended a press event where they revealed all the details for this new event. So imagine HHN but instead of horror this event will focus on Sci-fi, fantasy gaming and anime. The thing I’m most excited about is Back to the Future: Destination Hill Valley. The “Fan Tram” will take us down to the backlot where we’ll get off and walk around Courthouse Square, the filming location from the movies. But the cool thing is it will be completely transformed into 1955 Hill Valley from the first film, complete with actors playing the roles of Marty, Doc, Biff and more. We’ll be fully immersed in iconic moments from the film like multiple times a night the lightening will strike the clock tower and send Marty in the deloreon back to the future. They’ll also have the Enchantment Under the Sea dance, where we’ll see Marty rock out on stage, and they’ll be a ton of props and photo ops from the movies. How cool is that? As a Back to the Future fanatic, I feel like im going to spend all night just in Hill Valley. They will have a couple experiences akin to the mazes at Halloween Horror Nights. Star Trek: Red Alert will be like an HHN house but instead of a Congo line of people going through it, you’ll be pulsed as a group from room to room to experience a full story. The story is we’ll be visiting the USS Enterprise and of course something will go wrong, an otherworldly threat wrecks havoc on the ship and we’ll navigate through many of the ships environments, from the sick bay to the control room to the turbo lifts and even onto the iconic bridge of the enterprise, which is actually the set piece used in the final season of Star Trek Picard. We’ll even get to experience a Transporter. Dungeons and Dragons: Secrets of Waterdeep is another one of these group pulsed experiences that will immerse us in a story from the games and we’ll come face to face with the legendary beholder Xanathar, who is being brought to life as a 12 foot tall puppet by Jim Henson Creature Shop. We got to see some early photos of this and it looked incredible. I dont even care about D&D and now im super excited for this. They are bringing Fantastic Creatures to The Wilzarding World of Harry Potter, including the niffler we met at Universal Studios Japan, the baby dragon that recently debuted there, and a new magical creature that has never been seen before in any of the parks - the occamy. I can’t wait to see this thing in real life. They are also bringing the Hogwarts Forever projection show from Orlando over to Hollywood for the event. They will also have specialty themed food and cocktails all over the event but I gotta say the best food items I got to try at the media event were from the Wizarding world. I really loved the meat pie, it was so good and buttery and flaky. Also my second favorite is the chicken curry. In Super Nintendo World they are unleashing Yoshi for the first time ever! We’ll finally get to meet Yoshi, and there will be a scavenger hunt to find five colorful Yoshi eggs and once you collect them all you will get to meet a different colored Yoshi. As far as I know Yoshi has only appeared in the parades in Japan, so this is awesome. And also we’ll have drone shows illuminating the sky over Super Nintendo World! And yes there will be new food here as well including Yoshi’s Fettuchini Alfredo and Yoshi’s Apple Melon Smoothie. I can’t wait to try it, we had a similar looking lassie in Japan and it was amazing! The event takes place on 12 select nights in April and May 2025, and tickets are on sale today!

In Florida the theme park vlogging world is hugely competitive. Vloggers race to have a video for a new hotel edited and published by 1pm (local Orlando time) of the same day they checked in. Hats off to those creators. I can’t even imagine the pressure to race & be first there.

Update: We are safe, thankfully the fire near us has been mostly contained. We saw this and had a half hour to run & pack everything we could that was important to us, would not recommend. Our heart is with everyone who was affected by these fires. Stay safe!

BREAKING! Filming in National Parks is now ALLOWED There was a rule set a little while ago that banned all filming in National Parks, National Monuments and any federal controlled land that state you needed a permit to film. Now that has been removed thanks to the EXPLORE ACT. To film in a national park you need to adhere to a set of rules and be less than 6 people. Basically don't disturb other visitors, don't cause any damage, stay on trails and keep gear to a minimum. Basically be respectful. There is no restrictions for content creators posting on any platform and generating income from these videos or photos. Read the Explore Act here: congress.gov/bill/118th-con…

How many subscribers do you need to have for YouTube to send you a Christmas present? Honest question l. We honestly don’t need YouTube to send us a gift but every Christmas I see creators getting them and wonder 😂

Wicked was WOW, so good. @jonmchu is a master at turning musical dance numbers into modern cinematic artistry. But almost every moment I was thinking, this world screams to be made into a theme park land that can be explored and experienced at @UniversalORL.

@PeterSciretta @jonmchu @UniversalORL Haha soon I think! They started ride testing last month. I’m guessing they were hoping to open for the movie release but atleast before the Christmas holidays. They have an INCREDIBLE Scooby doo ride (based on live action) that’s under renovation
