حدیقہ کیانی کے ایوارڈ پہ اتنی ستائش یا شور وغوغا مچا ہوا ہے کہ باقی کسی کی طرف نظر بھی نہیں گئی! اس دفعہ ایس ایم صادق کو بھی پرائڈ آف پرفامینس سے نوازا گیا ہے، شیخ محمد صادق فوک شاعر ہیں، 90 کی دہائی میں پاکستان کے اندر جتنا بھی فوک کلام گایا گیا ہے اکثر ایس ایم صادق کا لکھا ہوا ہے، مجھے علم نہیں کہ ان کی شاعری اوزان پہ پورا اترتی ہے یا نہیں لیکن ان کی شاعری ہر صنف میں مقبول رہی ہے۔ استاد نصرت فتح علی خاں نے ان کے کئی کلام قوالی کی شکل میں گائے ہیں، اوتھے عملاں دے ہونے نیں نبیڑے، میری توبہ، ہنجو اکھیاں دے ویہڑے وچ وغیرہ وغیرہ عطاء اللہ ، عارف لوہار، شوکت علی، نور جہاں، راحت فتح علی خاں، جواد احمد سمیت ہندوستان پاکستان کا کوئی مشہور گلوکار ایسا نہیں ہوگا جس نے صادق کا کلام نہیں گایا ستر ہزار گیت لکھنا کوئی معمولی بات نہیں! آپ موسیقی سنتے ہیں یا نہیں سنتے آپ کے کانوں تک ایس ایم صادق کا کلام ضرور پہنچا ہوگا، اک خواب سناواں نعت بیٹھے بیٹھے اچانک لکھ کر دی تھی جو دن میں ہزاروں جگہ چلتی ہوگی! اس میں حیرت کی بات یہ ہے کہ صادق صاحب کی روایتی تعلیم پانچ جماعتیں ہے، کسی اسکول سے نہیں پڑھے،کوئی استاد نہیں لیکن کلام کے بول خالص ادبی ہوتے ہیں. بہرحال میں ان کے کلام لکھنے کے فن سے بہت متاثر ہوں، پاکستان کے دس سال پہلے جتنے سنگرز کا جو جو مشہور گانا ہے، وہ یقینا صادق صاحب کا لکھا ہوگا، کیا یہ عجوبہ نہیں کہ ہر گلوکار کا سگنیچر کلام ایک ہی بظاہر ان پڑھ بندے کا لکھا ہوا ہے؟ ایسے لوگ بہت کم ہوتے ہیں! اگر ستر ہزار گیت والی بات کو درست مان لیا جائے اور پچاس سال ان کی مدت سمجھیں تو گویا ہر مہینے 116 گیت لکھے ہیں، ہے نا حیرت ناک!

@ed_hawkins The extreme weather events we are experiencing now at 1.5 degrees of warming are already terrifying. I don't think that most members of the public realise that now is the least extreme climate they will experience in their lifetimes. We will definitely regret our inaction.
