Best known as the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz here’s Ray Bolger breaking all the “rules” of classic Hollywood choreography in “April in Paris” (1952)

@spclsmthin I get it. I was just needling you because of how definitively you stated that he “NEVER” improvised.

@smitaprakash What a goofy crunt. You can see the real her--nasty and dumb as a post.

One of the best human beings I ever knew.

@spclsmthin If Jon-Erik Hexum was gay, how is it that it never became known like Anthony Hamilton? Why has no one else made the claim? Is there anyone else who can support it? If not, it’s open to the thought it seems more like the sour grapes of someone who was snubbed.

@spclsmthin So like at a wedding or a party he would rehearse before dancing? Sounds like a lot of work.

@spclsmthin Twitter showbiz trivia accounts are *obsessed* with pretending everything is spontaneous, improvised, off-the-cuff, “genuine” and unexpected. Heaven forbid a performer should rehearse. It fulfils some dark, mysterious need I’m unable to identify.

@spclsmthin For instance, this dance was not choreographed or practiced, though in this case the partners did know who their randomly selected partners would be and what song they would have 30 minutes before the dance: youtube.com/watch?v=xqEaHw…

@Marckymarc71 @spclsmthin Ginger proved you're gullible

@spclsmthin You might like these. My aunt with her godmother and my grandfather in the other one.

@spclsmthin Conversely, when professional dancers do improvise--at a competition, randomly partnered, finding out their song only when they're about to dance--you'll find people in the comments insisting that it's a choreographed and practiced routine and that "improvised" is a lie.

@AntLeonard73 @spclsmthin Ginger said it was.
