I came across a theory that AI is starting to make more mistakes because the internet is increasingly polluted with AI slop. The idea of AI cannibalising itself into obscurity is one of my favourite things ever. I hope it is true and I hope it becomes impossible to fix.

Ray Bolger was a marvelous man. I worked w/him for 4 weeks on a 2-segment of “Galactica 1980”. What a lovely, charming & kind man. He was very grateful for the robotic costume I designed for him and used to approach me on set and tell me daily about the compliments he received!!!

Best known as the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz here’s Ray Bolger breaking all the “rules” of classic Hollywood choreography in “April in Paris” (1952)

Can you get off your ass $ look it up? It’s all over the internet, plus it’s detailed in many news article & a chapter in my book. I can’t believe how stupid you ppl are not to think for yourself. You want everything layed out before you like some privileged spoiled rotten child.

You can sure say that‼️‼️‼️ How with her experience on the job as a reported could she not recognize gun fire? What a ding-ding, plus she cannot deliver a segment of news intelligently.

Snubbed? For whatever reason? I was being paid good money by a studio. No one was snubbing me in the slightest the network was crazy over the look I had done. You should get your ducks in a row, not scattered all over the place. In short, you have no idea what you’re saying.

@spclsmthin If Jon-Erik Hexum was gay, how is it that it never became known like Anthony Hamilton? Why has no one else made the claim? Is there anyone else who can support it? If not, it’s open to the thought it seems more like the sour grapes of someone who was snubbed.

You sure to seem to know so,much when you weren’t anywhere on the scene. It was very well known in Melbourne at the time that Hexum was gay. Brush up on your history!

I worked w/him and caught him in his trailer in compromising positions because the wardrobe & assistant director had keys to trailers to place costumes. Hamilton didn’t care either but he didn’t hide it through phony PR you’ve swallowed hook, line & sinker! I was there, saw a lot

That was his profession and you have to be tops in things to get ahead in life. Just shuffling your way through things and improvising is a dead end and a clear sign to others that you are involved with only yourself.
The Nuns of Gavarone@arealBalloon

@spclsmthin So like at a wedding or a party he would rehearse before dancing? Sounds like a lot of work.

@spclsmthin I wrote a similar comment about a month ago. It's totally naive to think that a perfectionist like Fred wd risk his reputation b4 a huge audience of millions by improvising a dance. The kids on these social media sites are embarrassing.

@spclsmthin People on this website love to claim every old clip is “improvised” or “unscripted” for absolutely no reason. It’s always like “the actress had no idea this was going to happen!” about a scene that was clearly blocked and rehearsed in advance

Everyone today is LAZY & wants everything handed to them. They have the internet but are asking others for an answer instead of doing it themselves. The staving, over-populated world has become privileged & self indulgent and is paying no attention to reality…especially with AI!
Christian Rutherford@Impitoyable

@spclsmthin Twitter showbiz trivia accounts are *obsessed* with pretending everything is spontaneous, improvised, off-the-cuff, “genuine” and unexpected. Heaven forbid a performer should rehearse. It fulfils some dark, mysterious need I’m unable to identify.

Come on, look at the setting and you’ll see this isn’t anything professional. Just a bunch of amateurs trying to make it resemble some high stakes competition. I I’m taking about trained, experienced dancers who have rehearsed for years. Not these wannabes!!
John Barach@John_Barach

@spclsmthin For instance, this dance was not choreographed or practiced, though in this case the partners did know who their randomly selected partners would be and what song they would have 30 minutes before the dance: youtube.com/watch?v=xqEaHw…

Every dance is ALWAYS choreographed, especially TV, film, theater. After 70 plus years on the stage & in films, I’ve NEVER seen one that wasn’t unless it was some two-bit hoofer trying to make it look like she knew what she was doing. GET REAL!!!
John Barach@John_Barach

@spclsmthin Conversely, when professional dancers do improvise--at a competition, randomly partnered, finding out their song only when they're about to dance--you'll find people in the comments insisting that it's a choreographed and practiced routine and that "improvised" is a lie.
