BR: In #Patriot, many people couldn’t accept your character’s death and there was a lot of backlash and negativity around it. What do you have to say about that? #Mohanlal: I don’t think the criticism came because the character died. I feel the audience didn’t get emotionally connected enough with the character, and that’s why it felt a bit negative for many. Maybe the limited duration and lack of detailed emotional depth also affected that connection. There have been many huge hit films where my character dies in the climax, and audiences accepted it wholeheartedly 👏
