A giant in college football and an even greater man, Coach Lou Holtz leaves behind an inspired legacy that has shaped the lives of generations and his joy garnered millions of fans. His was a life well lived, and I was lucky to call him a friend. Rest in peace, Lou.

Rod worked hard to make sure that where a child was born didn’t determine whether they could succeed in school and beyond. He devoted his life to America’s young people and made a difference.
