@cpt_depression_ If he had said he’s tired of the judges face it would have been irresponsible given he’s a politician but adding in the racist remark makes it reprehensible and he should be removed from power.

I don't have a problem with Black Economic Empowerment. Considering South Africa's history, the concept is sound.
What it should never have done is go against our constitution, which specifically states that these policies are not meant to be evergreen and based on race. It's literally in our constitution, a point the ANC often doesn't mention.
Empowerment should have been based on socio-economic status. Prioritise people from poor households, underfunded schools, and rural areas, while it still captures the majority of historically disadvantaged South Africans without automatically sidelining born frees who had nothing to do with the past
I would have poured serious funding into primary education, nutrition, and teacher quality, and focused on infrastructure.
Now that real equality has become entrenched even further due to corruption, everyone is arguing about boardroom representation.
The real inequality has already happened. The time to achieve that is over. Stolen by the ANC.
Equity should have been achieved through ownership funding, not pressure. Rather than forcing companies into deals, there should have been state-backed funding vehicles that help genuinely disadvantaged entrepreneurs buy equity or start businesses.
But no, D&G, Lamorghini's, and Patek's were more important.
As a state, I would have offered skills-first incentives. Tax rebates for companies to do training, apprenticeships, and actual skills transfer. But no, milk them dry until most of our manufacturers have closed their doors and our skilled artisans have left the country.
Policies should have had clear timelines and success metrics.
The ANC is not only corrupt. It's incompetent.
But real leaders in government that focus on real measurable outcomes and stop drowning South Africa in nonsense and racial division.

@Dzungie007 Couldn’t happen to a nicer individual… he’s in a leadership position he has responsibilities so he will get judged harshly.
English

@Dzungie007 Apartheid was a 10/10 today we maybe 5/10 in reverse… is that reasonable to say?
English

@Dzungie007 @elonmusk Is he maybe waking us up to something that is actually quite unfair that we have just learned to accept? Do you really think he’s doing it for the money? Do you think he needs more money? I don’t and so if not then there is a moral point here he is pursuing.
English

@Dzungie007 We can never forget nor return to it, but we also cannot use it as a reason to have reverse apartheid, nor to use it as an emotional camouflage that allows leadership to steal destroy deploy cadres and generally get away with murder.
English

@Dzungie007 I agree with you we mustn’t generalize. I’m referring to this specific case where South African laws are racist. The laws applied are black empowerment & as he says if they were white empowerment they would be racist too. They used to be white empowerment during apartheid.
English

@speaktruth1010 So you're saying because some Black South Africans have said or done racist things, all of them are racist? That's like saying because some white South Africans supported apartheid, all white South Africans are apartheid lovers. Generalizations don't work either way.

@jacksonhinklle Nothing to do with shooting a gun - you full of fake news - fact check this people
English

@Dzungie007 Sorry but if it met our standards it would break every 5 minutes and get stolen.

@DanBilzerian I’m surprised you didn’t say pussies because that has SS in (you would qualify for that) & it would only help retain your number 1 position as the number 1 lowlife ass in the world.
English

@PhumlaniMMajozi Nobody in SA makes more sense than you & you would be the best President we ever had.
English

If I were President of South Africa, I’d pursue a policy of leaving South Africans alone. Leave South Africans alone and focus on ensuring stronger law and order, quality education, and skills development. Let robust capitalism be in control. Do that, South Africa thrives and becomes one of the richest countries in the world in a few decades. #economy #politics #markets

@Skhumbuzo141783 @John_Mphatsoe There are probably around 800 - 900’000 people benefiting directly from BEE in a population of 65 million. How is that helping the majority?
English

@speaktruth1010 @John_Mphatsoe Who told you it doesn’t help the majority?
English

@Newzroom405 Though doth protest too much. Forced legislation that is taking from Peter to pay Paul because Peter is white & Paul is black is a race based “taxation” that makes Peter worse off and Paul better off. Ironically he mentions jobs blacks couldn’t do now it’s whites. Racist laws.
