@Scott50290617 Reducing our fans led to your having about 14 people at your biggest game in years. We should be going the other direction and having bigger allocations. Proper policing and fans actually interacting with each other again..

We should reduce Celtic's allocation at Tynecastle more and to piss them off even further give Motherwell and Falkirk the full roseburn stand.

"Set to play out the final 15 minutes of an arduous fixture run that entailed a Europa League tie away at Stuttgart, a visit to Pittodrie, and two trips to Ibrox, all in the space of 10 days, the team were flat out on their feet. "But, as has been the case throughout his time in charge, O'Neill's guidance proved pivotal. The Celtic manager's innate ability to rouse the team once more shone through. "'He’s calm, but also a little bit aggressive,' central defender Auston Trusty said of O'Neill's team talks. 'He really wants to hound his message. He has a lot of experience and knows exactly what to say. He’s the same every game. Every game is a Champions League game to him.' "Celtic saw out that final quarter of an hour at Ibrox and won the resultant penalty shootout. The team had practised spot-kicks at Lennoxtown in the days leading up to the cup tie and booked their place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals after Oxlade-Chamberlain, Trusty, Reo Hatate, and Cvancara all converted. "Just seven days prior, at the same stadium against the same opponents, Celtic were staring defeat in the face. Two-nil down to Rangers at half-time, they were also nine points adrift of league leaders Hearts at that particular juncture, albeit with a game in hand. "But in the away dressing room at the break, O'Neill kept his cool. Rather than go through his players in typical Brian Clough fashion, O'Neill and his coaching staff devised a tactical plan to exploit the faults in Rohl's Red Bull-style 4-2-2-2 system – and it came up trumps. "Hatate's introduction at the interval changed the game and Celtic salvaged a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Kieran Tierney and the Japanese midfielder. So much was their second-half dominance that the Celtic players walked up the Ibrox tunnel after full-time, slightly frustrated at not winning the match. "They dug in at Pittodrie three days later. The match against Aberdeen, initially set for February 4, was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. "Rescheduled between trips to Ibrox, O'Neill – internally and externally – voiced his displeasure at the new date. He felt for the fans, who, within 10 days, had to travel to Germany, Ibrox, Aberdeen, and Ibrox again. "In the end, the supporters got their money's worth. Celtic came through the mammoth run unscathed, and with a newfound confidence that, despite three separate managerial changes, and swathes of off-pitch tumult, with two months of the season remaining and the schedule only getting kinder, they could achieve what Trusty later described as something 'magical'." Why do footballers take their kids on to the park on the last game of the season? If I take my kids into work the day before my holidays my boss would have a meltdown....

@Masterton9 I was quite interested in the young heart fan standing outside the turnstiles before the match shouting obscenities at passing Celtic fans and filming himself. The fact the police had to make him go into stadium to stop a riot tells its own story.

There are others on here who will back me up on this, going into Celtic Park yesterday was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The venom and hatred, plus the physical attacks on anyone wearing maroon, was absolutely disgusting. And it wasn’t a minority. Scum of the earth.

I’ve learned again that exhausting truth about Scottish football in recent weeks: that hotly-contested refereeing decisions are scarcely ever approached by fans with an open mind, but forever shaped by which team you support. Hence the very same penalty is either “a stonewaller” or “never a penalty in a million years” when, in actual fact, with all the competing evidence and TV angles, it is often very hard to call. It becomes draining, trying to argue with “emphatic” on both sides. A futile pursuit. Forgive my simpering.🤣 I suppose I get paid for all this.

That wasn’t even exciting in the end The way Celtic won that was just boring and stinks of the corruption that has favoured them for the past few months As for the fans? Some of the worst in football.

Diazen Maeda will likely leave Celtic this summer. Where ever he goes I hope he has all the success and plaudits he deserves. An absolute machine. The heart of a lion. A Celtic legend.

What you’re going to see over the next couple of hours, days and weeks are pundits and observers trying to take this away from Celtic. Like they don’t deserve. Like they didn’t earn it. We all know different.
