@LClark2006 Early in production, they would use shoes to help keep the tugs a float, since they didn't have enough trolleys for the tugs to sit on Seemingly after the first few months, they got enough trolleys

@T1E2H3 It also looks like, across Series 6-8, the trucks retained the same paint job on them, before getting repainted during Series 9 with new eyebrows. Although, not an expert on this kind of stuff compared to other people.

@T1E2H3 3rd face I think is seen once again in Series 8's "James Gets a New Coat", in these two shots. Admittedly not 100% sure, but think it might be 3rd due to the eyebrows? Nose would also be a giveaway, but I can't heads or tails on it.

@MonikaCinnyRoll In the show, there's a story about one of the characters proving himself by pulling a train of troublesome wagons Then, in the same show, 4 seasons later, there's an episode where the trains are chased by a boulder And that's before the show gets stupid for 8 seasons (8-16)

@MonikaCinnyRoll Trains do train things. Can be exciting, calming, well written, poorly written, down to earth, wacky ass shit, a 2D reboot I don't like. Depends on what era of the show you're watching. Fanmade stuff, like the video you're quoting, somehow has an even wider spectrum of tone.
