I'll do a breakdown at some point, but the scales were a custom material attempting to reverse engineer how the Burrowing Snagret's body looks in Pikmin 4. Strict PBR wasn't going to be convincing enough for the cartoonish metallic look

@Chrambas8 This is the Wallowing Infantrap and yes, the scales are smaller fish embedded in the side

@ShortcakeStar I noticed it a lot in Pikmin 4, especially the belly of the Snootwhacker and it made sense to bring that design idea to my own model.

@specsowl Including the shrimp-like texture on the body they started using to signal enemy weak points is a smart move

@xxmensionxx Yeah! That was a major inspiration because I loved that boss fight and felt like Scornets were so cute I wanted to make a fish version.

I always imagined Purple, Blue, and Rock Pikmin being the ideal way to fight this.
Rock Pikmin will do major damage to the air sacs, but then fall in the water, so be careful!
