@phii_oda still really wishing them the best though! the release felt super wholesome and I hope that positive energy around the game continues because you can tell there’s a lot of passion behind it. gonna wait and see where it goes and maybe give it another shot someday 🥹

@phii_oda I kinda felt the same. loved some of the ideas and customization stuff, and I can already tell builders are gonna have the time of their lives with it, but the camera controls and especially the whole card/target interaction system just never felt natural to me

@jackofallgames7 honestly, I’m kinda surprised by how much is already there tbh. people expecting a sims replacement after years of waiting for one is probably where a lot of the disappointment comes from, because nothing new is really going to hit that kind of expectation

Hot take but the amount of backlash/unfair hate Paralives is getting for simply existing, with people comparing it to a game that’s been running for a decade, shows exactly why EA’s been reluctant to greenlight a Sims 5

This is probably why EA didn’t want the sales figures to leak. Cats & Dogs only selling 17 million (which is more than many AAA games sold) is apparently a “flop” 💀 People just have no idea things work.
