Welcome to the campaign trail, Shelley Luce - It’s great to see another local candidate entering the race. I look forward to engaging in constructive, respectful debates as we both present our visions for the future of North Vancouver-Capilano.

North Vancouver–Capilano is where I’ve chosen to build my family, run my business, and build a community. As a candidate in the upcoming by-election, I’m ready to take our community’s message directly to the Liberals in Ottawa.

WATCH: When I’m out engaging with the community, one big question keeps coming up: why are North Shore residents carrying the brunt of the waste management project's cost overruns? The federal government committed to funding 1/3 of the original costs for this wastewater project. That means federal taxpayer dollars are directly on the line. Since Metro Vancouver and the provincial government are failing to demand real answers, the federal government needs to step up and actively pursue accountability. The financial burden shouldn't just default to the people of the North Shore.

The Liberal condo bailout forces regular homebuyers to bid against their own tax dollars. Instead of allowing the free market to function and naturally bring down prices for families, this intervention bails out well-connected developers. We need the government to get out of the way, let the market work, and restore true housing affordability here in North Vancouver–Capilano.

WATCH: In my recent conversation with Marc Nixon, we discussed the alarming rise in property crime right here in our neighborhoods. From middle-of-the-night break-ins to people actively checking car doors on our streets, the anxiety among local residents is growing. Ensuring the safety of our streets and security for our families is a top priority. We cannot afford to look the other way while criminal activity escalates. It's time for real accountability and stronger support for community safety measures.

A tough result, but an amazing run. Canada’s men’s national team showed grit, heart, and pride on the world stage, inspiring millions of fans here at home. You made our country proud. Thank you, Team Canada 🇨🇦
