@LarryBundyJr Dead Rising is one of the few series that come to mind where the original is the best and each subsequent entry just got worse and worse. though DR2 is still pretty decent, 1 still topped it for me.. and by the time you get to DR4, it was just dreadful

i suffer thru the lag... 😟ive found a few little tricks that help alleviate it though. cutting sections of the animatic into smaller 20-30 second chunks. also a funny one is literally just scrolling up on your timeline and your layers so that the animatic mp4 isnt visible genuinely helps a bit too (because the little image for the animatic layer is a live preview that needs to load too, so just scrolling up so you cant see it even when the layer is switched on for your cleanup helps move through it a bit faster, at least for me it does anyways) i've been recording my process with making this episode as i'd like to do some sort of "making of PPF" video on my second channel so i might be able to explain/show it better there!

@speedoru @newgroundsdoc How do you import the rough from Animate to Clip Studio without the program lagging to death?

@newgroundsdoc i still always do the storyboards/animatic (and even a little bit of the cleanup for certain shots) in Flash 8! the majority of the cleanup i do in Clip Studio EX
