This is the 6th straight tournament with a KHSAA Boys Basketball State Champion from outside of Jefferson Co and Fayette Co. That ties the longest ever streak which also happened from 1936-1941. That list of champions: Corbin, Midway, Sharpe, Brooksville, Hazel Green, Inez
