"Conway Twitty had a batting average of .450 when he graduated from High School, and he was offered a contract with the Phillies.
Harold Jenkins worked for a few months for International Harvester before accepting the Phillies offer.
However, he was drafted into the U.S. Army for the Korean War and served in the Far East.
While stationed in Japan, Twitty kept both his dreams alive by forming a band and playing on the local Army baseball team.
His first band, "The Fuji Mountain Boys" represented their Yokohama unit and won the 1954 All-Army Talent Competition.
Twitty changed the band’s name after their big win to "The Cimarrons."
The Phillies renewed their offer when he returned home, but Twitty had by now become more interested in pursuing a music career.
Twitty's first released “Rock House”, was a huge hit!
One of the original owners of the Nashville Sounds!

Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft have 6 super bowls together as the QB, Coach and owner
Three dudes are who notoriously horny
They bring in Stephon Diggs who is currently the #1 horniest guy in the league and they are back to the Super Bowl
Is being horny = championship level success in the NFL?
Why aren’t more teams actively getting more horny
