Coached a VAYNE client who was BLEEDING LP DROPPED from PLAT 4 down to GOLD 4. felt WASHED. felt STUCK. felt like he'd hit his ceiling. he told me on our intro call "i've watched all your vayne youtube videos. i've been finding some success with the playstyle. but i feel like i'm missing SOMETHING. i need to FAST TRACK this. i need to climb" so we got to work. we ran through the standard breakdown. wave management. spacing & tethering. itemization. the usual. but the two things that ACTUALLY changed his gameplay is 1. how to play AGGRESSIVE properly as a ranged top while maintaining hp most players think aggressive means "all in and tank the wave" that's not aggression that's TILT. real aggression is staying at 85% hp while your enemy is at 30% by trading patterns that favor you. utilizing brushes to reset minion aggression, poking on specific windows depending on wave state. you should be PRESSURING constantly while still being healthy enough to fight when the jungler shows. he was playing aggressive but losing every trade because he was committing without setup. 2. viewing ganks as an OPPORTUNITY not a disadvantage gold and plat players see a jungler walking into their lane and panic and think its a losing situation. my client now SEES a 2v1 and thinks "GOOD. now i can kill BOTH of them" invisible tumbling a direction they won't expect, maintaining a 1 v 1 even if its 2 people. little tips like that MAKE THE ENTIRE DIFFERENCE i made him drill this mentality until it was muscle memory. don't fear the gank. WANT the gank. then i did the most IMPORTANT thing of all. i told him he could HIT his GOALS. most coaches give you mechanical advice and send you on your way. they don't address the mental ceiling. they don't INSTALL BELIEF. they leave you with the same self limiting mindset that kept you stuck in the first place. i told him higher elo was not just possible, it was the FLOOR if he kept applying what we worked on. he sent me this message at 1:34am last night: "love you bro. i finally decided to put the fries in the bag on my main account. climbed from gold 3 all the way to emerald with 70% winrate. will update again i really feel like i can get diamond" GOLD 4 to EMERALD 4 graph went from a flat line bleeding LP to a vertical climb the second we started working together. and the most important part of that message wasn't the rank. it wasn't the winrate. it wasn't the games won. it was "i really feel like i can get DIAMOND" that's the WIN. that's what COACHING actually does. belief gets you to your PEAK rank. he doesn't FEEL hardstuck anymore. he FEELS like a CLIMBER. and once you feel like a climber you BECOME ONE. emerald 4 today. diamond 4 by next month. and after that, whatever ceiling he sets for himself. the fast track wasn't a hack. it was permission to actually believe he was GOOD ENOUGH. Study the Saskio way
