I've got the parts for a custom GBA build on the way, so I'm throwing together a custom box for it just for kicks (the build's based on the limited Sonic Team VMU) ...I tabbed back in from working on this to the Sonic acct's icon becoming the Advance 1 art, that was some timing

@Tracker_TD I was looking for this exact look in a custom gba, where are you buying the parts?

(This is the build in question... transparent blue front shell and clear back, akin to the Sonic Team VMU in question. Clear side bumpers, grey buttons, and blue membranes for the face buttons just to, again, be lavishly accurate to the VMU)

@KellytoyDK I remember that video, he made it hold a sparkler or something right? I think he had a bullet bill video too

god there was a video I watched as a kid where I guy in his garage with his robot/puppet companion made a real bob omb, referencing this scene from the movie, but I’ve never been able to find it since. it’s like super lost media

@shadydoorags My thoughts on the movie exactly, I know the plot was cliché but the character writing was very well done, I found myself fully invested

Saw Goat. An extremely cliche underdog story with a very predictable plot and the final third has some serious pacing problems. That being said, I was fully invested in this movie. It was very cozy for me, though that might just be the melanin in my skin, what with the movies' themes hitting very close to the culture I was surrounded with growing up. I don't say this often, but the modern language that will definitely date this film actually enhanced it for me. The characters, while generic, are pretty likeable and I enjoyed all their arcs, though I would've liked to have seen some of them get a smidgen more focus. Many of the animal based jokes were fun to watch and a good chunk of them were entertaining. I REALLY liked the setting and the world building. I was constantly excited with every new location that was featured. It's fun to watch creatures play what is essentially basketball in unique and dangerous locations as though they're Mario Party characters. All in all, it's a harmless and fun "follow your dreams" kids movie that we've come to expect from Hollywood, but with a fresh coat of paint. I can see some Gen Alphas and Betas growing up with this and really appreciating it in hindsight once they're older.

@ArtistNcs I think Bad Guys did it well, they swapped between reptile and humanoid teeth depending on the expression, though I admit it was weird sometimes

@spenceethomas2 Good guess, but no. Steve did some of the original character art for game one. This was done by Kirk Henderson. Another amazingly talented artist.

1991... This was the first sketch of what planet for what game? Can you name the artist? Do you prefer it in pencil or in color?
