Sgt Nkosi #Madlangacommission District: Tshwane Station:Pretoria North Cas No: 17/04/2026 Charge: Possession of unlicensed ammunition, Theft , Defeating the ends of Justice and failing to keep the firearms and ammunition in the Safe based on the firearm Arms control Act Date and time: 2026-04-02 07h00 Complainant: State Suspects: Suspended 7135281_3 Sgt Fannie Hezekiel Nkosi Arrest: One as per Saps 14. 11/04/2026 Methods used: Possession Scenario : On the 2026/ 04/02 at about 07h30 the Madlanga Team had a raid at📍 , executing A J50 which is a warrant of arrest to Mr Fannie Hezekiel Nkosi searching for the unlicensed firearms and ammunition. The J50 was executed where a number of unlicensed ammunition is 490 and 01 handgrenade that belonged to the state were seized. Case dockets from different stations were found. The team had also found firearms which were not in the safe, firearms were tested and the came that they belong to Sgt Nkosi and their licenses were shown to the team. It was 04 Pistols, 03 Riffles and 01 Shotgun. The case of theft , negligent handling of firearm ,possession of unlicensed ammunition ,possession of stand grenade, and a case docket of defeating the ends of Justice was opened. The suspect is arrested and detained at Pretoria North Saps with Saps 14/ 11/04/2026. The suspect will be charged soon he will appear in court next week Tuesday 2026/04/07. The Madlanga Team will be moving the suspect from Pretoria North Saps to unknown Safe neutral place.
