and just like that. 70 hours in @GuildWars2. I've been trying to think about WHY i love this game so much. I think it's really coming down to the joy of exploration. This particular world is full of stuff to see, explore, and witness. Actionable ways to collect mounts that are useful and have wonderful utility that make the exploration i mentioned even more fun. Loads and loads of different kinds of builds (ranger all day), specializations to acquire, flying mounts to work towards, and the fractal dungeon system. I have also found the community to be abundantly kind and generous. The music is also lovely, of course. The main theme for Heart of Thorns is definitely my favorite, as well as the theme for Tarir, the forgotten city, becoming one of my favorite video game music tracks! I've often felt like my most favorite MMO was another but I'm starting to think this game might actually feel like home. I feel an enormous sense of discovery and possibility every time I boot this game up.
