@NirvanaM1nd true, although I do like it as as example of Peter hitting rock bottom, like in that one comic where Peter tries selling his webs to scientists but then they realize it expires after 2 hours and tell him to fuck off lol

It’s always weird to me when people want to see this suit in adaptations and such divorced from context like it’s not made to be a bad omen for Peter

Just kinda annoys me when people try and down play this element of his character like issue 500 doesn’t show a future where it ultimately gets him killed But I forgot yall only know that story because of the costume forget the content of the story just look at auraman

I think powerscaling can be fun and used in a story but I think treating it as some end all be all is very silly Spider-Man defeating firelord out of sheer willpower and a little luck is always gonna present a more compelling story than something that sticks to rigid scaling
