It was a pleasure to attend the unveiling of the Yarra Community Centre in Lidcombe, a wonderful new facility that will serve as a vibrant hub for our local community. The event was honoured by the presence of the Lord Mayor, along with local ward councillors, community leaders and residents, reflecting the strong sense of collaboration and pride in this important milestone. This community centre is a testament to Council’s commitment to inclusive spaces that bring people together. Kudos to the Council staff for their dedication and hard work in delivering yet another outstanding community asset for our city. 👏
