Ok I drove over and looked, scanned all the strip malls and didn’t see anything sadly :/ The Spirit/walgreens was empty. Unforch I don’t think the address is a clue! It probably just functions as a way to ground the film in reality, and besides, it’s set in the 90s. Sorry!

maybe I’m overthinking it, but the audio on the phone call sounds like a fax machine - the sounds are specifically how fax machines communicate w/ each other to send info. Has anyone tried calling the Backrooms phone number with a fax machine?

Could the sound when you call the phone number have anything to do with the original teaser image?
There were a lot of comments at the time about it being a spectrogram image which is used to analyse sound. I don’t think anyone one ever worked out what the image meant.
