@evolutionarypsy The amount of security theater in anything IT these days is infuriating. Seems like a bubble too from the financial side (security teams having near carte blanche to buy whatever products they want)

@bcherny @svpino Can Windows on Arm support for Cowork get bumped? Seems like it's a 3rd fiddle here... can't be that hard since you guys run Arm for Mac

@svpino Next, ask it to book the flights. I just had Cowork book 3 flights for me and it worked surprisingly well

Claude Cowork is mind-blowing. I still cannot believe you can do this on your phone and then come back to your computer to a complete report on the best plane tickets to buy. I wonder where we'll be by the end of the year.

(Every tracker I've ever used has recorded <1.2 hours of deep sleep for me, Fitbit, Galaxy Watch, now Oura ring, seems to be consistent and possibly genetic and is less than "normal" apparently. Trying vagus nerve stimulation soon.)

Tried this last night: a.co/d/0gbsrbGu 2 gummies about 45min before bed, was almost stumbling over on the way to the bathroom to brush & floss. Got 1hr7min of deep sleep last night. That's more than usual for me. Thought I'd share an interesting sleep supplement.

Random share. Been having trouble with deep sleep for a few nights, <45min of it according to Oura ring. Claude Opus 4.6 recalled some Japanese study using 3g of Glycine 30min before bed.

Man if the energy transition advocates were thinking chess instead of checkers they should be using this data center moment to be figuring out how to get them to cost share that long distance intra regional high voltage backbone that they always wanted the ratepayer to fully fund in the past in a win-win. 765kv from Ohio to DC might help deliver CCGT gas now but would set up for that holy grail interregional transmission probably later on.

@davidtranjs @PaulRBerg Yeah perhaps it can have a switch? I love it, easier to compartmentalize the bits of the prompt, especially when including log data.

This is the most annoying thing in Claude Code. Hiding raw text when you paste more than 4 lines. Terrible UX decision.

You guys all run Claude Code with claude --dangerously-skip-permissions right? Because otherwise how in the world can you sit there accepting every single permission when building something?

@trq212 or actually more detail on the specific error: claude plugin marketplace add https://<gitlab-host-redacted>/myusername/claude-mktpl-test1.git ... fatal: could not read Username for 'https://<gitlab-host-redacted>': terminal prompts disabled

@trq212 So we're at a strange impasse here, can't just ask everyone to generate Gitlab Personal Access Tokens and use them plaintext to add the marketplace, but the Coder helper for GitLab doesn't work with Claude Code.
