The framework places strong emphasis on cutting emissions, strengthening energy security, building local manufacturing capacity, developing skills, and expanding charging and battery-swapping infrastructure, supported by inclusive financing models. @TransportKE

Today marks a major milestone for Kenya: the launch of the National Electric Mobility Policy, marking a clear step forward in Kenya’s shift to electric transport, with electric two-wheelers identified as the quickest pathway to large-scale adoption. @TransportKE
