We are already working with the Gulf countries and practically every day we are in contact with these countries at the team level. There are already concrete results from our units in defense – we are providing our expertise and our real support. Other countries of the world should now also make their contribution to stabilization. We all need joint decisions and joint work so that there is more security for everyone. I thank everyone who contributes to coordination and shared results.

Today, I received a report from our negotiating team following the second day of their meetings in America with envoys of the President of the United States.
I am very grateful to American society for its clear support for a normal, dignified peace for Ukraine. It is important that none of us is forced to return to war in a few months or years, which means that security guarantees for Ukraine and for all of Europe must be sufficient for a reliable peace.
I expect that after the negotiating team returns to Ukraine, we will discuss in detail all aspects of the meetings, which for now cannot be safely discussed over the phone.
There are signals that further exchanges may be possible, and this would be good news and confirmation that diplomacy is working. We hope this will happen.

@Luganskiy_Twi А как комплектовать войска если никто не хочет воевать?
А если никто не хочет воевать, то зачем война?

Today, our team met with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in the United States. This is important for the whole world: diplomacy continues, and we are working to end Russia’s war against Ukraine. No one wants this war. The teams will continue discussions tomorrow.
The key issue is to understand how ready Russia is to move toward a real end to the war – honestly and with dignity – especially now, when geopolitical tensions have increased due to the situation around Iran. A more detailed report from our team will follow.

Russia, a country with 217,000 documented war crimes, is allowed to exhibit in Venice.
The organizers of the Venice Biennale, with their cynical formalism – “no violation of EU sanctions” – are acting as willing lackeys of a regime that commits war crimes daily.
While Ukrainian civilians are dying, being tortured, and executed, while Russian troops are beheading prisoners of war and distributing these videos as trophies, these repugnant cultural functionaries seriously consider the letter of the law more important than bloodshed.
Are we soon to be able to admire torture methods from Bucha, Mariupol, or Izyum as an “artistic installation” in the Russian pavilion? Or are they still waiting for some actual body parts as a “performance”?

Rustem Umerov reported on the outcomes of meetings and negotiations in the Middle East and the Gulf region. We are engaging in detailed discussions with partners at all necessary levels. Our teams are already working with five countries on countering “shahed” drones – we have provided expert assessments and are helping build a defense system. Additional requests have been received from other states. There are also requests from the U.S. side regarding expert support for their military personnel in two areas of the region. We are also reviewing requests from European partners whose forces are based in the region.
Ukraine is committed to the swift and reliable stabilization around Iran, which has global significance for oil and gas markets and therefore for pricing, particularly in Europe and Ukraine. We also take a principled stance on the unacceptability of any success of the terror campaign of the Iranian regime – a long-time accomplice of Russia. Nowhere in the world can terrorists be allowed to determine the fate of people and countries.
We also discussed opportunities for international cooperation to restore security in the Strait of Hormuz. I tasked Rustem Umerov with involving Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our military to assess existing international initiatives concerning the Strait of Hormuz and the real readiness of countries to participate in stabilization missions. I expect specific data from this assessment in the near future. Importantly, all our partners acknowledge Ukraine’s global role in ensuring security and the high quality of Ukraine’s security expertise for the protection of life. Glory to Ukraine!
