In the last week it feels as if Spring has finally flluttered into the hills and dales of the Peak District. The lanes are filled with blackbirds, the moors ring with the curlew’s song, the trees are proudly bearing their brand new green on every twig, and there are daffodils in all the verges. Very much a long shot shot but I’m looking for some help. I’m in desperate need of a collection ride on mower, ideally with a powered sweeper. I look after 5 pitches at the club which 20 teams use. We are based on a flood plain so we often get flooded which leaves behind a lot of debris that needs clearing up. At the moment I am raking the big bits up by hand and then using a little garden sweeper to get as much I can off. Most of the work I do is voluntary, after work and weekends. The kit i use at the moment, I’ve either made myself or bought personally. So I have a £0 budget. If anyone would be willing to work together for something or point me in the right it direction it would mean to world to me and means I can keep all the teams playing football. I know there are FA grants available but unfortunately we don’t have the amount of years left on our lease required to be eligible. The last 12 months I have had over 15 Million views of my work across social media and TV. I’d be more than happy to promote and represent any one willing to help me.
